This was our first New Year's Cruise aboard Carnival, and second cruise overall. We have been working our way up to a 14 day. I was very excited to sail on the Pride as her home port is Baltimore and we typically sail from Tampa or Port Canaveral.

Decor: A bit outdated and busy, but eclectic in orientation. There was quite a bit of paint chipping off, so I'm assuming the 2.0 upgrades didn't include a fresh coat of paint.

Staff: As always, the staff on Carnival is top notch. I'm always surprised by the fact that all of the staff knows your name. There always so cheerful. It's scary actually, as no one working 6 months straight, and living so far away from family and friends, can be that happy all the time. They really are incredible people!

Ocean Suite

Cabin OS

I couldn't have asked for a better cabin. Our only issue was the jacuzzi tub. The button wasn't working to turn it on, but that was due to a power surge on the ship. It actually came on with no water it when we were sleeping. Our Steward took care of the issue in a snap. He was a lovely man from India named Joaquim. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant man to take care of us for a week. The bathroom in the OS was huge lol. I had so much room to get ready. I also had 4 closets. 4 closets on a cruise ship!!!! Awesome! I would book this suite over and over.
