Staff were very pleasant and professional. Embarkation was quick as we were in a suite.

The food was good. Better than P&O not as good as Royal Caribbean. The buffet was better presented than other lines I've sailed with.

The decor was awful! Beyond belief bad. There was respite in the Sushi Bar and the pub as they had been updated in early 14 and the public loos. But the "legend" themes clashed and were repeated ad nauseum throughout the public spaces.

Cabin Review

Vista Suite

Cabin VS

As Carnival is new to Sydney there were some great introductory prices. So we took the opportunity to book a Vista Suite. We chose 4228 because it had a connecting door to family members in 4330. Suite was great. Six different areas so you felt you were in a tiny apartment rather than a cabin. The balcony is huge and as it is wrap around one side is always a little bit more out of the breeze than the other. From the deck plans the suite on level 4 seems to be the largest. The deck furniture was all new too.
