A great itinerary, with several overnight port stops interspersed with relaxing sea days. Places like Halong Bay, Hue and Hoi Ann are all UNESCO World Heritage listed and Angkor Wat (part of an overland add-on) and Attuthaya (just north of Bangkok) are also listed sites that could be added in if you want.

The Christmas celebrations were a bit disappointing - no real build-up, only modest decoration and a lot of politically-correct "for those of you celebrating the holiday, Merry Christmas!" from the staff. It can't be that hard to add in a carol-singing session on Christmas Eve surely? Also, on board religious ceremonies were limited to Jewish ceremonies for Hannukah and Catholic Mass. Again, an ecumenical Christmas Day service can't be that hard, surely?

New Years Eve in contrast was well done, with a countdown party on deck and free champagne - lots of the cabin stewards were roped in as waiters so they got to celebrate with the guests which was nice.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 3

Cabin C3

Reasonably spacious cabin, with bed nearest door. Bathroom was let down by cheap plastic shower curtain that constantly clung to the person showering. Good storage under vanity basin, but no power outlet at all in the bathroom! Bed comfortable, but no 'mattress topper' despite being advertised meant a 'crack' between the single beds when pushed together.Comfortable 2 seater 'convertible' lounge opposite the sizeable desk which had 2 cupboards underneath. Good cupboard storage.Balcony was reasonable, with 2 chairs that partly reclined and a small round table. HOWEVER, being directly under the buffet restaurant meant large steel supports for the projecting 'pods' partially obstructed the view in both directions - this cabin is NOT advertised as having a partially obstructed view so beware...
