I have been on many Carnival Cruises and I will say that this one was excellent. The Freedom 2.0 upgrades are fantastic although I was disappointed that the new taste bar was in the place of the old sushi bar. The alchemy bar was fantastic and a big shout out to Dezi and Corina for their excellent cocktails. This bar was a hub of activity and a great place to meet people. The food was, as usual, very good in the dining room. We did the any time dining which I prefer. Andrew and Godfrey are excellent waiters. I was disappointed that there was only 1 night of Ribs and you now have to pay for some of the items (like lobster) that used to be just one night on the menu. The Steakhouse was superb. GO THERE!! We purchased the deluxe wine package and when the ship ran out of the Malbec I wanted, they substituted with a higher end wine which was excellent (free of charge). I will say that there were quite a few kids on the cruise (it was schools break) and while on the adults only serenity deck, they frequently came around to see their parents and at one point tried to nab my chair while I was in the hot tub. Wish there was a bit more monitoring on that. Also--there were youngsters in the adult only pool one day but I was pleased to see the staff removed them to their approved area promptly. Nothing against the kids--but when everyone has designated areas its nice to have some peace and quiet. The ship did a great job with New Years eve celebrations and the decorations on the ship for the holidays were great.

Bought a lot of jewelry (winning at the casino) Lavinia in the jewelry store was a pleasure to deal with.

Purchased the faster to fun and was in my cabin, unpacked by 11:30am. Luggage was RIGHT there Totally worth the 50$
