My brief Norwegian Cruise Line, NCL review: Let's start with the negative...from the unhappy, never smiling employees, the dirty, aged floors to the always busy signal guest services, restaurant reservation, pizza delivery, to the subpar food the Epic was only that in size. After discussing my concerns over the not perfectly clean balcony room and the food, all I got was one free specialty dinner (not including drinks) , and a room that was never perfect. Royal Caribbean gave me 3 meals with drinks for their mistakes!

Amazingly on Christmas day and from there on out the ship was cleaner and the employees happier. Upon checking in, which took over an hour and a half (that could almost be a starting buzz kill, which I've never experienced on any check in anywhere), we finally made it on board. Now I've been on around 10 cruises and this ship was amazing, from the 17 restaurants, multiple clubs, bowling alleys to the amazing gym and spa area this ship had it all, even an ice bar, Blue man group and a Cirque show. Howl at the moon, a 2 story Wii screen, Blues bar and a club with beds (please note the previous clean statement before enjoying). Perhaps I'm spoiled by traveling often and eating fine dining, but this food and service was not worth my $2000, plus drinks, spa, gambling, extra stuff...like decent coffee! The coffee was horrible! I've got a lot more to say, complain and compliment, but I'll save that if NCL decides to respond to me.

If you ever want to ask about vacations, email me. FYI, what I paid for the cruise, I think, was an excellent price thanks to my travel club! Unless NCL reimburses me in some way, I'll never promote or sail with them again! Please note, Epic is a huge ship so when choosing a cruise, remember there are a lot of people, 4200 on this one and a ton of walking, 20 floors! ‪
