Never have we seen so many inebriated people on a ship. That special Drink pass is creating more alcoholics. What, only 14 DRINKS a day? It is no wonder that people are as loud and obnoxious as they are. There is an area on the ship called Serenity, a place for adults only. It does not mention that they should be sober adults, quiet adults. You could not get away from the intrusive behavior of these 'special' pass holders. It was also impossible to spend time in the spas anywhere. On the Serenity deck they were filled with the alcoholic group and on the main deck the 7 and 8 year olds took over the spas. It was easier to get into the spa on the children's deck. There was no serenity.
Now for the food. It was never served hot. NOTHING came across hot. What should have been cold was served warm. Service in the main dining room was awful. I have cruised at least 6 times and never have experienced the lax in service. One evening we sat for almost 15 minutes before we were acknowledged by anyone. The fun and games part of dining where the waiters run around for 10 minutes is ridiculous. This set us back another 10 minutes to get an order placed. People want to eat and not wave their napkins around!
We attended the Chef's dinner with 4 others. We listened more to the chef tell us about his wealth than the workings of the Galley. In the private Library dining room we listened to piped in Country Music and the singer from the lounge. It was not a classy event. The price of $75.00 was fair but it could have been developed into a classier event.
Our Cabin was very well maintained. We had to split the beds because it was impossible to get to the back bed. Many people complained about the set up and we told them about splitting. The storage is more than adequate. Bathrooms are good and shower pressure is excellent. HOWEVER, the hot water is VERY HOT and you need to be very careful because it will adjust itself while you are showering. Our steward Oswald made towel animal every night and we looked forward to coming in to see what he had done. We felt the steward went beyond his duty and tipped him additionally. The hallways are quiet but the walls in the room are a bit thin and you are subject to hearing your neighbors.
