I know these reviews should be about the ship, crew, food, itinerary, etc, and there will be some of that. I have to feel sorry for cruise ship workers, though, due to some of the people they encounter during cruises, especially short cruises.

DW and I are in our 50s and have been cruising a lot in the past couple years. This was our 3rd and 4th cruise on the CB as we took a B2B fro the 27th through Jan 3rd. Our 22 and 24 yr-old kids traveled with us and stayed in the same cabin type next door. Departure from Fort Lauderdale was very easy as it mostly always is. We departed from Terminal 21which was a departure from the normal Terminal 2 departure.

Our first stop was Princess Cays, which we had been to once before. We did not stay long, however, as there were a lot of biting gnats and mosquitos. I know Princess can do nothing about this, so this is just a comment. I also made the mistake of going beachcombing wearing only sandals. I slipped in the rocky area and cut up my foot. So, needless to say, between my foot and the biting insects, Princess Cays was not our favorite stop.

Cabin Review

Cabin I

Room size was adequate and in a good location. We normally book balcony rooms but booked interior this time so that kids could come along. Bed was extremely hard and seemed very old. Location was very noisy, not really from location but from obnoxiously loud people and unsupervised kids running up and down the hallways at all hours of the night.
