We were on the Dec 13th sailing which turned out to be a great time to escape from the Christmas preparations and general madness. Embarkation was a breeze and Celebrity has this down to a fine art. We boarded around 12.30 and went directly for lunch and then to our room. Our luggage arrived mid to late afternoon. I was quite stressed out when we got to our room and saw how little storage there was as we also had our 12 year old daughter in the room with us. There was no need to worry. The room is deceptive as it has a lot more storage than it looks.Our room attendants came by to introduce themselves (Marta and Sameer) and they couldn't have been more attentive all week. We really put them to work unfortunately as my daughter picked up a really bad cough towards the end of the trip and she coughed so hard that she vomited. This sent off alarm bells with the staff as Noro was going through the ship. After visiting the ship doctor they felt that it wasn't noro but the entire room had to be sanitized anyway due to ship policy. I felt so bad that they had to go to all that trouble,

Dining- We had Select dining and were in the same general area every night. The staff were so fantastic with our daughter (who has special needs). They made her feel like a Celebrity. The sommelier Red was amazing to her. We will always remember him.

Ports of Call- We had been to all of these ports quite a few times so didnt worry about booking anything. We arrived into San Juan quite early as there was a sick passenger on board that needed to be tended to. St. Thomas was a nightmare as we had to tender and it was so disorganized. We wasted about 3 and 1/2 hours just on the in and out tender and then it started rain as soon as we got off the tender. Read more
