The Ship: The ship is wonderful. The retrofit changed a few things, so i recommend you also try the Maasdam to get a feel for the smaller ships. The Atrium is wonderful and still all the decks and spaces are so wondrful. The artwork is also wonderful. They changed happy hour times, but that is okay, we still made a few of them. We danced in the crows nest late one night and had a blast. I recommend you check out the deck plans. We always to scour them before we sail.
The crew:The crew was amazing. Arthur and Gabriel of the front desk! They need a raise. Cyn of the spa, she was great. Our room stewerts were also amazing.
The Entertainment: The on location stuff by Kinoa was amazing. His knowledge , his humor, his open heart full of aloha was so refreshing. This guy is so informed, a true native that you simply cant stump him. Dont miss his presentations. I even took some of gradma's jewlery to him, and he knew all of the hawaiian origins. The show Airborn was hilarious and inspiring. the singing and costumes were really good.
I would book this room again. It is right next to the promenade deck and doors, so you always have a bit of fresh air in the hallways. It is just a few steps from the Atrium where we often sat or played a game, or took the beautiful stair to the other Atrium decks. It was quite and peaceful with a really good ocean view. Even with the 18 nights of packing, we have plenty of room for our stuff. Easy access to the prominate deck made for some quick getaways to take lovely surise or sunset pictures, or head our for our daily 4 mile walk. I ready about this afordable catagory from another member review and i am so glad that i listended to advice from someone. I hope you appreciate this avice as well. When you love your surroundings, little can dampen your day. Happy sailing.
