Sail Date: Dec 2014
Cabin: Deluxe Stateroom with Balcony and Bath/Shower

This was our second cruise, the first being on the Carnival Spirit to Alaska 2 years ago. I had read quite a few negative comments about P&O in general and the Arcadia in particular on this site so I was slightly cautious about the whole experience however it turned out that we had nothing to worry about!

Check in at the terminal in Southampton was quick and smooth and within an hour of arrival we were on board and eating in the Belvedere where the food was good and plentiful.

Then to our balcony cabin where we were greeted by Francis, our very pleasant cabin steward.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Stateroom with Balcony and Bath/Shower

Cabin DE

A comfortable room with plenty of storage and a huge, very comfortable bed. Very clean and a super room steward (Francis). Good tea and coffee, chocolate on each pillow every night, toiletries from The White Company, bath/shower, safe, fridge, hair dryer, comfortable sofa. A great cabin close to the stairs and just one deck below the Belvedere (but 5 decks down to the Palladium etc.).
