This was my second cruise, the first was on P&O with my Mum, Dad and Sister in Norway. My sister and I got the cruise bug and couldn't wait to go on another cruise. We wanted to try a different cruise line so chose Celebrity as they seemed to be slightly more up market than P&O and not so British.

We weren't disappointed with our choice of ship - the Equinox was lovely - just our style, modern and light - very classy. Lots of restaurants, bars, good choice of shops, excellent entertainment. Good mix of nationalities on board

We had inside cabin number 1536 on Deck 11 which was extremely quiet as it was tucked away off the main corridor. Perfect for me as I am light sleeper. Cabin was extremely comfortable - only complaint, more of a niggle was that it was awkward trying to get in the wardrobe as the sofa was in the way and it was small compared to P&O Azura which is the only other ship I've been on..

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom 9

Cabin 09

We booked this cruise quite late so didn't have much choice of cabin. We were on a budget so had to have an inside cabin. Location was very good as it was tucked away just off the main corridor so no passing traffic. It was very quiet. We're not bothered about being mid ship so didn't mind the walk anywhere. It was very quiet, it was spacious, twin beds and a sofa, Flat screen television with good choice of channels, films and music if you want them. Plenty of drawer/storage space - mainly above beds so had to climb on bed - bit of a downside Beds were very comfortable.Wardrobe was a bit disappointing (compared to P&O Azura) and it was in an awkward position as the sofa was too close to it so you had to to a bit of breathing in to get to it.The other niggle was there were no tea/coffee making facilities but not a deal breaker.Bathroom was much better than what I expected for a cruise ship. It was quite big decor was nice - lovely tiles and shower cubicle was spacious. All in all this is a good cabin
