Ship is very nice, but that where it ends!! Service was lacking in EVERY part of the ship... Bartenders were not friendly at all, We had great service at the Martini bar ONLY if we went away from the bar,. The servers away from the Martini Bar were awesome to get our drinks . Had one bad experience at the Martini bar.. second day.wanted a martini before dinner and stopped by and sat a the bar.(at around 5:10pm )There were 6 other people sitting there also and the bartender turned to us(which we are only 2 people) and said. if your inpatient and can't wait ,there is other bars to serve you beer..that didn't sit well with me,I wanted a martini... asked another serve who showed up to speak to the bar manager , which he went and did get him, spoke to the manager about what happen and he said sorry and said he would speak to him.BUT Every Time we went to the Martini bar after that the bartender who told us to go and get a beer, would NOT serve us..so we just went and sat away from the bar, but still went there every night for 7 nights...Just think it is strange that the manager would keep such a RUDE bartender serving there...he didn't clearly like his job.
Tried book a night out at MURANOS ... THAT didn't go well. Went over to book a night out and tried to talk the the front end reception guy . He was on his phone talking to someone and when we tried to book a night and a table of 2. He looked up at us and sad.. NO WAY table for 2 for you two guys, No nothing available he says. His attitude totally changed because we were 2 guys looking for a romantic dinner. I Insisted on the date and time, with attitude the gentleman asked us for our cabin # and when he put our cabin # in , instantly the time and a table for 2 came up for us. We booked and walked away.. Next day we cancelled. Guess he didn't want our money spent there...
MDR food was really BAD, very small portions(yes we could of asked for more but the wait....).DON'T order the New YORK Striploin, AWFUL, like really AWFUL.. The food quality on Celebrity has so gone down hill, down down down... This is not a 5.5 star dining for sure. I hate to say this but CARNIVAL had better food, and I will never go back to Carnival...
Cabin Review
Concierge Class 2
Cabin was at the farthest back corner on the portside of the ship. Nice LONG walk to the elevator. No noise from other cabins. No vibration from the engine which I thought we would have as beeing so far back on the ship. Balcony was nice had a little angle on it so you could see out and to the right with no problem. Only had 1 balcony neighbour to your right. Had lots of privacy.
