The Explorer of the Seas is a Voyager class ship of Royal Caribbean International. Explorer of the Seas is a large ship that measures 138,000 GT. Overall, Explorer of the Seas is a big ship, but also an old ship. Let's start off with the staterooms. I stayed in a Superior Balcony on Deck 7; my TV was old; it still had the lump on the back of the TV. The balcony view was port side which was nice. The 4- Night Cruise to Labadee had two sea days; the pool deck was often crowded which had many children splashing me with water which I advise parents to supervise their children. The main dining room service was okay. Our assistant server forgot to serve us bread which made me lose my appetite. The Cruise Director was mean; they had this competition and he wanted twins and two Asians walked up and they looked the same; he then said "no your not twins; your Asians!" He sent the Asians back with a disgruntled face. Overall the ship was fun; Labadee is fun. I would love to cruise with Royal Caribbean again because I am a Gold Crown and Anchor Society member. Explorer of the Seas will be refurbished in May 2015 adding the Flowrider and replacing the in-line skating track.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

The stateroom was old; the TV still had that lump in the back. The bed was comfy. There was no variety on channels on the TV unless you want to pay for movies.
