This trip was our 2nd time traveling with the Celebrity Summit. The entry to the ship was care free and there werent any concerns. It was expedited and we were basically on vacation within 15 minutes of being curbside. We ventured to our "aqua class" stateroom. This is incentive ized because you get to dine in a smaller dining room, have complimentary access to the Persian gardens and as I am an elite member we met others through the host on board. If I can offer you any advice: pick one line and stay with them forever. I have... The cabins were updated I believe in 2012. They are the same as last time and I noticed the bed ends were sharp no just in our room. The bathrooms had an odor that was prevalent the entire cruise. Service by the stateroom attendant was good. There were as many or as little activities as one wished to partake in on board. We visited the "buffet" because at lunch there wasn't much access to dining rooms. Times were limited. Food was fair in all area that we sampled on board. The specialty dining areas are an additional $45 pp and if you are a foodie its a must try.. if you are just on vacation and aren't overly concerned with where and how your next meal will be served the dining room Blu was just fine. We tried basketball, shuffle board, table tennis and refrained from the hot tubs/pools as there were just too many people even in the adults only areas.

Once at Grenada, St Kitts, St THomas and San Juan we stayed on the ship and it was quite nice. No lines and no noise. This line has significantly changed since our last venture with them in 2011. Service changed as I had to tell my waiter each night coffee with milk and breakfast tea. We have dietary restrictions and were consistently offered GLuten full items so it became the standard each and every dining time to make a statement "gluten free" whereas on other lines I had never had an issue. One fellow member stated once the gratuities were included the need not work as hard to know your likes and dislikes. I am not sure if this is valid or that person just had other issues. I will make mention of a vital importance. Once you gain complimentary access to the Persian Garden for "relaxation" they have all massage and other body treatments appointment people wait in the Persian Garden as their holding area until the treatment room is available. Kids, families, etc came into the area with cell phones, fully clothed etc. I was already not encouraged because it was unisex then to throw the others in the mix well, it wasnt very relaxing. Anyone can walk right in without a key or access pass... so it is not a special place but a place if you know how to gain access you can get in. Disappointing. I will travel on board a Celebrity cruise line again but will refrain from the older ships. I will most likely go to a higher level line

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A1

Ship is older, amenities are upgraded since 2012 refurbishing but you can still smell and see wear and tear.
