Super-speedy embarkation. We arrived a little before NOON and were on the ship by 12:30. Bags were to the room by 1:30. Very well choreographed.

Once onboard I realized quickly that this would be the ugliest and dirtiest ship I have *ever* been on. When I say ugly, picture this: smokey mirrored walls with brass trim, blue, red, and violet neon striped lighting. The carpet is worn, when the elevators work they skip floors, the atrium is so small and claustrophobic it looks more like a disco-themed launching pad for a space shuttle than the heart of a cruise ship. There are these dark faux brown violins that dot the atrium and other public spaces- they aren't classy or charming, they are just bizarre and make the space feel dark and closed in.

Now to the smell. There is a an indistinct smell that permeates the halls, atrium, and other indoor areas of this ship. It is a mix between BO, cigarette smoke (casino), vomit, and febreeze. My husband couldn't smell it, but I referred to it as the smell of death. Ewwww.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Small and very loud since it is close to the elevators.
