My wife and I were excited to go on this cruise since it was to a part of the world we had never been to. Sorry we chose Princess to do it on. We have cruised Princess eight times and this was the worst, partly due to the ship but also Princess has lost or is in the process of losing it's touch. In general the ship itself is in very poor condition by comparison. Every time you went into the Princess Theater it smelled of sewer, not very pleasant.

The dining was very disappointing also. The quality of the food just was not up to par for a cruise ship. The Horizon Room was very disappointing from previous cruises. The food selection was redundant and not very interesting. Even the cheese was blah! I had meat from the carver three times and all were bad, either full of gristle or just not very tasty.

The dining room dinner food was again ho hum and not very well prepared for the most part. There were a couple of waiters who were really quite good so I give them credit. To be fair I had a couple of dishes which I considered good. The escargot was excellent and a couple of the soups were also. The main courses left much to be desired.
