Sail Date: Dec 2014
Cabin: Concierge Class 1

We booked this cruise almost two years, ago for our Anniversary Celebration. This was our first S-Class ship experience. We loved the ship, but the crew did not seem to be as attentive and friendly as the smaller Celebrity ships. We boarded the ship in 15 minutes. I like the staged boarding times.

Cabin: We loved the Aft Concierge cabin. It was very quiet with very little noise from the public areas two decks above us. The cabin attendants, Seon and Syney kept our cabin spotless and took care of all of our requests in a timely manner. This was the cleanest ship that I've sailed on any of the five lines that I've sailed. The closet was adequate with enough hangers, but drawer space was limited. I use E-bags to pack, so I stored folded items in the few drawers and in the overhead storage.

Dining and Service: We broke of the boring dining room meals by booking specialty dining for three nights. We tried all three for dinner. Murano was the best of the three. The Lobster dish prepared at the table was delish! The main dining room had fewer seafood dishes this year. We ate in the MDR on the 2nd night and the service was slow and disorganized. When I returned to my cabin, I had a questionnaire about concerns. I filled it out and addressed the slow service. When I returned on the third night, I explained my concerns to the assistant Maitre D. The poor waiter was swamped with four tables and a runner. After that night the service improved and the dining experience was to my liking. The Assistant Maitre D, Juan took care of my dietary needs and I survived 14 nights without any swelling of my feet and ankles. Room Service was a disaster. The food was warm and good, but the order was never correct. They would call each day to see if they got it right and promise that it would be right the next time!
