Royal Caribbean is still our preferred cruise line. However, Explorer of the Seas is in need of some attention and it is my understanding that the ship will go in for enhancements starting early spring. But, in general, the entertainment was very good, the food on par and the staff attentive. For some reason, we were not required to check-in/out towels which caused two problems. One, is you didn't know if someone was coming back to a chair or not and two, the pool deck looked very sloppy with all the used towels laying around the deck. We will continue to cruise on RCI, but will make sure the ship is one of the top three classes and that the ship is not too old or has had enhancements.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Cabin was fine, but needed some updating. Big box TV, cabinets looking a little rough, carpet needed to be replaced. Overall, seemed to be clean and the cabin attendant was excellent.
