Many of the previous reviews of this ship and cruise have been negative so we approached this cruise with a few reservations. However, we found the cruise was very good. The quality of the meals was very high and the production shows were mostly excellent

Embarkation was very smooth. The Singapore Cruise Terminal is very well organised and is staffed by people that are eager to help. We were travelling with my parents for the first leg of the cruise. They were with us for 11 days and we were doing 21 days. They were regarded as two separate cruises so we were unable to organise the same dining table when booking. However, after a quick chat to the Matre D we were seated together. We were also re united with a waiter Marious, who we first met on a Tahitian cruise a few years ago. He provided excellent service.

On the evening of day one we watched the ‘Born to be Wild’ production show. It was very good and a great way to kick off the cruise. A few nights later we saw the ‘Piano Man’ production show. This was another great show. ‘Stardust’ was not as good, but passable.
