First time on RCL and not quite what I expected. Not sure if it was the time of year or the norm but tons of families and kids. My husband and I are both in our fifties and we were a bit disappointed. Lots of little hiccups but nothing that made the trip unbearable!

Embarkation was a breeze, hotel shuttle dropped us off around 11:30 and we were through the lines and on board the ship within 30 minutes! Room was ready by 1 pm. Dropped off our carry ons and were eating lunch by 1:30!

Room steward and room service itself were both lackluster. Couple of towel animals were left but other than that we spent too much time tracking down and requesting items we needed (room service menus etc). Room service has limited breakfast menu, rather plain and dry pastries, delivered without cream and sugar for coffee twice! Tried ordering snacks a few times and were told items we wanted were "out". Someone moved our breakfast menu one morning and room service called to tell us they wouldn't bring us breakfast since it wasn't on our door, took some convincing to get them to bring it anyways!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Room had queen bed, sofa, table and built in desk. Lots of little nooks and drawers to put stuff in. Closet has several shelves and safe and plenty of hangers. Bathroom is normal postage stamp size with shelves on both sides of mirror. Great shower spray, small shower... Room itself was clean but what I call spit and shine. Found food under sofa (gross), hairs in bathroom and also in desk drawers. Curtains smelled musty, if had been longer cruise probably would of asked to have them changed out. Balcony had two chairs and table. Spent tons of time out there!
