This cruise was a great one. Hawaii is an absolutely gorgeous venue, and having a cruise ship as a home base is a great way to see it all.

Boarding the ship was a breeze compared to some other cruises I've been on, where you could be standing for an hour or more waiting to get onto the ship. The room was a bit small compared to what we had experienced previously, but the balcony was huge... probably about 1/3 the size of the actual stateroom.

Our service was great. The room steward was efficient and worked around our schedule, so we rarely saw him but the room was always clean and tidy. On the evening my wife was feeling a bit seasick, the waitstaff in the Skyline dining room went out of their way to make her feel better, going so far as to remove her dinner and bring her a warmer one. The only service issue was one evening in the Napa Wine bar, where the staff was obviously more interested in flirting with one another than serving patrons.
