This was my first cruise at age 56, my mom wanted to take me on a cruise once in my lifetime (she's been on 16). So I flew from Tucson to Houston and took a SuperShuttle to the Port of Houston. Met mom there and had an easy entry onto the ship...long line, but it moved fast. We had an inside cabin on the fourth level and thanks to mom's experience we found it. I didn't expect to like the inside stateroom, but it wasn't too bad.

We overall rated the ship experience a four out of five. It wasn't a five due to our very poor experience with our steward who took care of our cabin. We got there and the bathroom was filthy, with feces in the toilet! When we went to complain, hoping for possibly an upgrade, all we got was a steward that was rude and did a poor job all seven days. We figured he didn't appreciate our complaint, and with no tipping he had no incentive to work on his attitude.

Dining was the most enjoyable time on the ship , the Dining room we went to was fabulous. The buffet was always well stocked, although a little crowded, it was great food. It was free-style dining which is the only way to go.

Cabin IX

Our inside stateroom was bigger then I expected (this was my first cruise). Ok accommodations. Our bathroom was filthy when we arrived with feces in the toilet, obviously no one touched it since last people were in there. A little hard to find.
