We've cruised many times before using different cruise lines like NCL and RC but we always come back to Carnival because it seems to always have the dates and ports we want to visit.

Embarkation was easy. We arrived around 2pm and got right onto the ship and our room was ready so we dropped off our stuff we had carried on. The room is on the smaller side but it's functional and worked for me, my girlfriend and her 5 year old son. We loved the balcony and sat out there every night with drinks in our hand and soaked up the Caribbean breezes. It's not a huge balcony but it was fine for two people. Our room steward rocked it and was polite and went up and beyond fulfilling our requests like a cork screw and bottle opener and always keeping our ice bucket full. "Made" was amazing. Thanks Buddy.

The food on the ship was better than expected. I knew we were in for some great cuisine when we sunk our teeth into the macaroni and cheese spring rolls. They were amazing. Lido Buffet food was good and although there wasn't much variety at breakfast (it was the same every day), lunch and dinner were always different and good. We ate in main dinning 3 days out of our 4 day cruise and it was good to excellent. We were on a tight schedule one night and our "my time" dinning waiter had us in and out in 15 minutes. Talk about amazing service. Thank you very much. Speaking of "my time" don't believe the negative reviews. We waited 15 minutes at the most any night we signed in all at different times and I'm not sure why people complain, the taste bar is right there with awesome small appetizers to feast on while you waited. No biggie for us at all. We did the steakhouse one night and the food was amazing as always. Guys Burgers and the Burritos rocked as well and we had noodles one day for lunch and I loved it. All in all, the food was some of the best we had on a cruise ship. Nice job Carnival.

Room is smaller but we loved the balcony and the room is functional with plenty of storage. We never felt cramped.
