We have sailed Princess, Royal Caribbean, and now Carnival. It's hard to compare "apples to apples" since each cruise is so very different depending on destinations, the particular staff members assigned to serve you, weather, etc. For instance, we have sailed RC several times. One time the cruise was spectacular, the other two times not so great.

That said here's my impression of my Carnival Liberty Spring Break Cruise. The Liberty is an attractive ship with nice dEcor. It's easy to navigate the decks. There's plenty of outdoor space for lounging and the beds are extremely comfortable.

The staff is excellent. They were friendlier then any other cruise staffs I've encountered on other cruises. From the room steward to the waiters to the deck hands...all were genuinely pleasant, friendly, and helpful.
