We simply walked to the fort, knowing it was located sort of close to the ship. This was a great walk. It is very pretty, and safe - policemen were stationed approximately every 50 feet along the way. The fort was wonderful and beautiful. This is must-see! Afterwards, we walked back towards the ship a different route, stoppping for lunch. This was also delightful.

St. Maarten

It was fun. The third world nature of the island was surprising. When the catamarin brought up back, they just dropped us off and were done with us. We still had to catch a bus for a half hour drive back to the ship. We had a hard time finding a bus that would take us back to the ship.This was not fun, in this third world scene.

My cabin was very nice. My steward, who kept himself mostly hidden, kept our cabin totally clean and straight.

We traveled from our hotel (Conrad Hilton, a nice choise in a nice neighborhood) to the cruise terminal in a secret service-like SUV limo.The ship was very nice.
