Sail Date: Dec 2014

The refurbished Voyager has 81 new cabins, and 400 more passengers making it far too crowded. RCI has also removed the children's activity program, so you can expect to see and hear children as they loudly run around the ship. Trying to get a seat at the Windjammer was impossible, and on each occasion we went, they ran out of cutlery! The overcrowding and unsupervised children ruined this cruise, as it did for everyone else we spoke with. The expensive refurbishment has led to other economies, including no toiletries (apart from shampoo), only two (not three) singer and dancer productions, and a decline in the quality and variety of food available in both the dining room and Windjammer.

We are Platitnum members of RCI's Crown and Anchor society, and feel unable to travel with this cruise line again. We have been told that the changes we experienced are fleet wide, and not confined to the Voyager.

We ran into a few people who had sailed with this ship before it's very expensive refurb, and they were distressed to see this ship transformed from a comfortable cruise liner to an overcrowded, noisy and uncomfortable ship where children were allowed to run and scream at will.
