Got to the port early due to a reschedule flight from US Airways. Arrived to port around 10:30 AM. It was not until 11:30 or so would we board the ship but once on board went directly to O'Sheehan's bar and grill for the famous pot pie I have read in the previous reviews. We were hungry and the pot pie hit the spot for both of us. The ship is so beautiful. We walked and explored the ship until the rooms were opened around 1:30 PM. We had a balcony cabin starboard 13808. Very nice cabin. Clean and in a good location midship. There’s plenty to do on this boat, the very reason we like NCL. We travel with Royal Caribbean back in 2013 on Freedom of Seas and they were very lacking in entertainment especially the golden hours of between 6-10 pm each night. Activities is a plus you can't get bore on the boat. Wife and I went to about every show but Legally Blonde and GRAMMY® Experience. Burn the Floor was very good, the dancers were so professional. I am not a sing and dance kind of person but this show was worth seeing. We had a great time in dueling piano bar called Howl at the Moon, Headliners Comedy Club with performances by Levity Entertainment Group’s was very good as well, and PG was funny. Hint - make sure you get reservation for both the PM show and the over 18 show. We did not realize this until it was too late and could not get a seat for the 18 plus age show! There was no seating the rest of the week for that show. The fireworks show is St Marrtin night around 10:30 PM go to the Spice H2O to watch, you can't see them from the starboard balconies.

Illusionarium is excellent and funny at times as well as hummmmmmmmmmm Supernatural in nature which I kind of question to myself is this a trick or is these people getting demonic help, I can’t giving any spoilers but will only tell you this, you will be saying "ole my gosh". Wife and I bought the Norwegian's Ultimate Dining Package it’s about $119 per person. It allows you to eat at all the special restaurants that have a cover charge for free, anyway after figuring it all up we probably saved about $80 bucks but I would not do it again as we are just not big eaters. Heres our take in order of the best ones, the number 1 is Cagney's Steakhouse its the best ate there twice! Next is # 2 Teppanyaki good entertainment and food, # 3 La Cucina, Italian good. #4 Brazilian steakhouse Moderno , great salad bar! not so best were the meats I would have opted to go Cagney’s a third night if had to do over, last of all and would not ever go back again is the French one called Le Bistro. Service is poor and we just di not like the food.

We ate at the Garden Café for breakfast, lots of choices in Gaden Café and several times at O'Sheehan's for lunch.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

No drawers in the room but that was not an issue, plenty of other places to store your clothes such as cubbies, we brought metal hangers about 15 this helped with the clothes. Shower was nice, big. Bathroom was nice too. Balcony is small but it worked for us wife and I spent time on it never were bother with smoke issues from others. The only complaint is AC unit wished it would run all night and not cut off we sleep pretty cool at home the temp just did not get cold enough for us, when it shut off I could hear my neighbors coughing in the night the wife did wear ear plugs one night. Maybe NCL should have added another layer of sound proofing material to theses cabins. We hear kids running down the hall a few times through the night. 13808 starboard is located I guess 30 yards in one direction from an elevator and another 20 yards in the other direction.
