We're a married couple in our sixties. This was our ninth cruise, but the first on a Silversea ship. Previous cruises have been on the Seabourn Pride, the old Renaissance R2, and the HAL Ryndam, Noordam, Statendam, and Amsterdam.
We were impressed with Silversea, so much so that we booked another cruise---a 17-night Panama Canal cruise for December of 2015---while onboard (although that cruise will be on the Silver Spirit, a newer and larger ship than the Cloud).
The Cloud sailed with only 172 passengers (out of a possible 296). In fact, there were considerably more crew members than guests. (Unlike most other cruise lines, Silversea evidently does not slash the price on unsold cabins close to the sail date just to fill up the ship, although they reportedly do offer onboard credit, cabin upgrades, and other last-minute booking incentives). As you might imagine, you never had to wait in line for anything.
