So this was our first time cruising and will probably be our last. Some of this has to do with the problems experienced on board but mostly, I think my husband and I are just not into cruising. There was an incredibly amount of motion on the boat, I'm not sure if this is normal or not? My husband and I both noticed it, thank God we didn't have any motion sickness, but the constant movement was tiring. That said, I will highlight the negatives and positives.

The room: My husband decided to surprise me with an upgraded room from standard room to junior suite. I am so grateful he decided to do this, as we had a lovely, large room with a nice patio, the bathroom was also impressive in its size, with a full bath tub and shower. We stayed in room 8630, which I would very much recommend as it was incredibly quiet and you couldn't hear anything going on only a short distance away. The only negative to the room was that parts were really warn looking. The wood on all of the cabinetry was completely stripped, well past its time. The also had these really ugly tie dye flower pictures over the bed, I'm sure they could have found something remotely nicer to put in the rooms. My husband and I agreed the the shipped looked nicer at night because you couldn't see all of it's flaws. Some might say the same about us ;)

Service: The service was very good, our bathroom flooded at one point and maintenance came down fairly quickly as well as the head of house keeping to ensure everything was alright. Service in the restaurants was very good as well. Our steward, Lambert was a very cheery, friendly guy and was there whenever we needed him.
