I cruised from Honolulu with NCL. I have cruised 4 times before this trip. The ship was just so-so. There was poor or cheap maintenance or areas that needed attention. The outside area floors were covered with a plastic matting that was very slippery when wet. And it rains a lot in Hawaii! The food at the buffets were barely warm or not very tasty. I did dine at two of their specialty restaurants and enjoyed them tremendously but, they charge a cover charge to eat there.

Seeing the islands was exciting and something everyone should try to do.
