I wanted to write a review because I read so many different things, good and bad, before we sailed. I'll go through the positives first. The ship is beautiful and very clean. We had an inside room for our family (5 and 8 year old kids) and it was tight but fine. You won't spend that much time in there. The water slides are great and there was never more than a five minute wait, even during our days at sea. The food in the buffet was much better than other cruises I have been on. I also liked the Irish restaurant, as it was very casual and had a pretty good menu.

Onto the negatives. There are three main dining rooms, but they all have almost the exact same menu each night, so it is really like one restaurant with three separate seating areas. The food in these restaurants was decent, but not great. And the service was slower than on many cruises we have taken. The other issue I have is that if you really want top end food you have to pay extra at the "specialty" restaurants. I don't blame NCL as I know almost all lines have gone this way. But you even have to pay for some of the shows. The other big issue I had with the ship is the fact that the main pool area is "adult only". I don't mind having an area with no kids but by making the main and only large pool adults only, it leaves a very small pool by the water slides for families to use. Outside of this, my kids had a blast and I would recommend this ship to anyone with a family. Even with three days at sea, my kids stayed busy on the water slides. While I see some things that could be a lot better, we had a great time and it was an overall positive experience. Hope this helps.
