Sailed on the December 14th, 2014 sailing (7 days), scheduled for CocoCay, St. Thomas, & St. Maarten.

Upon embarkation we were notified for the first time at the check in desk that there was a top speed issue, and the cruise ship was still 100% functional and safe, but the speed would need to be reduced (from 21.5 to 18), resulting in skipping the day at CocoCay (9 hours), increasing the time in St Thomas by 5 hours, and decreasing the time in St. Maarten by 3 hours. When asked what the issue was, the front desk agent said she didn't know. Embarkation took 15 minutes. We walked on the ship and was immediately disappointed. There was no warm welcome onboard, and you enter at the stairwell, not a very attractive welcome. The news was also extremely disappointing as we were really looking forward to spending time on the beaches and visiting CocoCay for the first time.

Throughout the cruise I worked out what the problem was with the top speed, I had to put the pieces together because when I asked the staff onboard, the answers were always scripted, and vague.
