We sailed on Dec 7 from Miami on Celebrity Eclipsefor 14 nights to the Southern Caribbean.
Checkin/Stateroom: This went fairly smoothly. Friendly staff got us onto the ship quickly. Champagne waiting at entrance to ship was nice. Boarded about 1pm and went directly to our stateroom, 6207 which is a partially obstructed balcony cabin. The obstruction was a bit more than we expected with over half the view from the balcony covered by a lifeboat. Other than that, this stateroom was great, clean and well laid out. The overbed cabinets were roomy but a bit difficult for short people to reach without climbing on the bed. Loved the bathroom with glass enclosed shower and plenty of storage.
Staff: Our stateroom stewards could not have been better, always keeping our room clean and orderly and always ready to assist. The first day we asked that our refrigerator be emptied so we could use the space for our own midnight snacks, sodas, and ice. There was also plenty of storage under bed for suitcases to be out of sight.
