First time on Carnival – Eastern Caribbean

We've sailed many times on other lines, and wanted to try Carnival to broaden our experience base. A few observations (some good, some not so good, and some just plain different).

(1) Embarkation/Disembarkation – Although it was a very congested entry to Port Canaveral…and the port signs were a bit tricky, overall a good experience. Parking, luggage drop-off, and boarding process were all smooth. The room was ready when we boarded at approximately 1pm. Liked the parking deck kiosk (pay up front) …which makes the departure quick. Disembarkation was one of the smoothest we’ve seen…ahead of schedule…and limited only by the escalators in the port building. Read more
