Embarkation and the Ship

We stayed in Tampa the night before our cruise so we arrived at the pier shortly after 11:00 am. The boarding process had already started. The check in lines for suites and diamond were the longest so we used the gold line and made it through relatively quickly. Some of the agents seemed a little confused so it could have been a little quicker. They took cruise card photos at this point so we thought we’d walk right on the ship.

The line on the gangway was quite long and moved slowly. When we finally made it aboard, we found the cause. The security staff was re-taking all of the photos that had been done on the pier. They couldn’t offer an explanation.
