Cabin: Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Our family of 11 embarked on our first ever cruise together on the beautiful Norwegian Getaway as an early Christmas present and celebration of our recent retirement. A great deal of planning, lots of excitement and some stress was all worth the fantastic adventure that more than surpassed everyone's expectations. (ages 25-60 yrs) Everyone except my husband and I and my brother and his wife were first time cruisers.

The Getaway was a great choice as there is something for all age groups and interests on this new Ship. Despite its size, the Getaway is easy to get around, the staff are awesome, the entertainment top notch and dining was very good.

Embarkation and Disembarking were both easy processes. Our Balcony cabins were a good size with lots of storage and comfortable beds.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

We had two adjoining Balcony cabins which worked well for the 5 of us. There was plenty of room for everyone and their things. Our adult son did sleep on the pull out couch which was made up for him each night, but said it wasn't all that comfortable. Probably okay for a child. Loved the balcony and location of our cabin close to stairway and elevators and only two floors below pool deck and buffet.
