My wife cannot walk very far so she uses an electric wheelchair and getting on the ship was not to bad. We were on board in about an hour. They let you board at 1PM so we were eating our lunch about 2:30 PM . Not bad. The ship was suppose to leave San Francisco at 4 PM but didn't leave until after 6:30 PM, don't know why it was late. The cruise across the Pacific was fairly smooth but it always comes down to where your cabin is located. We like it right by the lifts a little forward of midship. The weather was good for this time of year and we had great meals in all areas of the ship. Our beds were not the best but our cabin boy made us as comfortable as possible but coming from our time zone in Florida and going 5 hours ahead in time in Hawaii had us all screwed up when we were to get up in the morning. So the international Café was a favorite spot for us. AM,PM it was a great spot to go to.

The crew was great and very helpful. And that's where all the action was located. Great people watching place to be. It was also close to the Casino which we did play in. We were lucky and won a lot of money. Wow that was unusual as all other ships we were on the slot machines were not paying off much. The Island tours were great and we had a good time seeing our 50th state but we didn't see any other state plates on the road. (that's a joke???) The trip back to San Francisco was good sailing and we came into port around 6:30 AM.

Up to this point everything was fine but getting off the ship was a horror story. We had a debarkation time of 8 AM but didn't get off the ship until 10:30 AM and we missed our shuttle that was there at 9:30 to pick us up. We had to wait another hour for another shuttle to our hotel. Lucky we weren't leaving that morning to fly home, we would have missed our flight. We have been on 12 other ships and different ports but San Francisco is by far the worst port we have ever seen. So if we ever need to go cruising on the west coast we will stay far away from the ports of San Francisco. Enough said.....

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BB

This was a wheelchair cabin. So it was bigger then the standard balcony cabin. It had plenty of room and we would take it every time we cruised. Location was perfect.
