We travelled as a very active mature couple on what is described as the largest cruise ship in the world simply because, well ... it is. We did not have high expectations ... it is afterall a huge ship with over 6,000 passengers! We did not expect intimacy or privacy or even a peaceful cruise, afterall, it's only 7 nights we can take it!

Well, after cruisng on much smaller ships, it wqs really not that much different from some perspectives, the ship is bigger and so is the space! There are simply so many places to go, so many nooks and crannies to explore, so many places to hide and so many places to get excited with! The activities and entertainment are almost endless, in the time available, and you feel like there is no real need to leave the ship. It is as exciting or as peacful as you want it ot be, you just need to look for it.

But it visits good ports and of course you should go ashore, if only to appreciate just how large this ship is! All ports are berthed which is good to see the efficiency with which the ship gets guests on and off so that there is very little waiting, so very little time wasted!!!

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Good standard type balcony cabin (Ocean View). Quite modern of course, but up to the standard we expected.
