This was our 9th cruise on NCl, we are mid 50's, and booked and planned this cruise 1 1/2 years before.

We are each Platinum, so enjoyed additional perks of free laundry & 2 free dinner nights.

We booked shore excursions on the ship, since we had a lot of On Board Credit to spend. We did Best of Tenerife, Best of Lanzarote, Magical Marrekech, Eira Do Serrado & Monte with Cable Car, and Granada & the Magnificent Alhambra. Except for Granada, they were all great tours, many 7-9 hour tours, lunch included. The beauty of the Canary islands has to be seen through these excursions. Marrekech was great to see, but also, not a city I would ever want to return to. It makes Mexico look civilized.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Penthouse with Large Balcony

Cabin SG

Our cabin had new carpet, but there was the smell of cigarette smoke in the ventilation system. At times you could stand under the vents and smell this smoke. This was presented to our concierge and butler many times, they noticed it too, and said NCL was trying to figure out where this odor was coming from.At times you could smell smoke in the hallways. Other people complained about this issue also, we were not the only one.Since its an older ship, the cabin is very large, a lot larger then the aft suites on the other ships we cruise on. Would certainly recommend this cabin.
