This is our second cruise. Liberty of the Sea (RC) was the first cruise. Even though Oasis offers more on restaurants and fun area like Broadway, we had better time on Liberty overall. We were more relaxed and it was easier to find a quite spot on the Liberty. You can always find a place to sit but you can't never get away from the crowd on Oasis.

There are also a lot more foreigners from Asia and Europe which is not a bad thing but prepare to adjust a little due to the different social manners. Many Asians from outside of US don't really wait in line during buffet. It's somewhat an *efficiency* thing I think. They don't want to wait for things they may not want on the buffet bar so they just look and may cut in and take the food they want and then look for the next food.. They also pick, check the weight and choose the whole un-cut fruit with their hands. They don't just take one, they have to check and pick out the one they want. Its usually okay but many American eat apples or pears with the skin (Asians normally peel the skin) so no one wants a fruit that has been touched already.. (less problem with oranges and bananas). That been said, if you politely tell them that there is a waiting line or please don't do that, they would usually politely take your suggestion.

If you have kids, they probably would enjoy Oasis more due to carousel, animal balloons, face painting on Broadway and more public areas for them to explorer. The Adventure Ocean youth program offered by RC is really awesome. My 4 yr boy loved it. They do crafts, activity play, sing, watch movie and more. They let the kids to talent shows and singing show for fun as well. All the kids get to perform on the stage; solo or group depends on ages.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin seems to be a little smaller than the oceanview cabin we stayed on Liberty of the Sea. We stayed on the 12th deck, it was quite and the room was very clean. There was a shower caddy inside the shower so easy to store couple small bottles and soap. There were only couple outlets on the table by the mirror so you may want to bring a extension cord for something like charging a electronic closer by the bed.
