I have been on several cruises, this was my first and last with Carnival Cruise line! Never have I been so disappointed while on vacation. The only bright spot was our bar guy Allen from Philly. He was awesome! Price was reasonable, stateroom was clean, balcony was tiny, closet space was ample. Dined at our leisure (My time dining 5:45-9:30), first night in the dining room the wait staff was awful! Very disorganized, took over 2 hours before dessert was served. Second night seated in a differ section of dining room, staff was much better but the prime rib was not good. I have never seen beef with that texture. Lobster & shrimp were good. Third night, different section, staff was good, chateaubriand was a disappointment, baked potato was undercooked. Food from the buffet was not much better, every meal taken there was COLD! The best food I ate the entire trip was from the Mongolian Wok but waited 30-35 min in line. The Tandoori station was very good but what was listed as lentil stew was red beans. I called my room steward 4 times, three of those times the phone was never answered, 4th time the phone was answered with "on break, call room service." Shows were fun. Getting off the ship was a cluster! I have cruised several lines, this being my first with Carnival and I am sure it will be my last!
Cabin was fine, clean, ample closet space, but tiny balcony. Overall, about what expected.
