Overall, it was an excellent cruise. Getting to the ship is confusing if you drive to port, pay real close attention to the meager amount of signs for directions to parking. We did not return to the same terminal building we left from, so I had to leave my wife with our bags and go hiking about to find my car in the lot that was directly in front of the building that we left from. This is a pretty rotten trick to play, especially being 100% disabled. I get around ok, but having to walk 2 blocks to get my car sucked. Despite the signs saying cars, drop off and pickup, the security official kept telling me I couldn't park there to load my bags. After moving my car twice, I ignored the guy and went back about 100 yards and got my wife and 2 suitcases. Leaving the port and returning to I-95 was fast and easy.
The GLORY is a nice ship, well fitted and comfortable. We had a Lido(deck9) balcony room and had problems with the air conditioning the whole trip. The staff provided us with a large fan that made a big difference in our comfort. This was deeply appreciated.
The room was great otherwise, clean as usual and the staff greeted you by name. How do they remember all those names? The bed seemed a little harder and beat down than on our 6 Carnival cruises before.
Nice room, hard bed and sporadic air conditioning.
