We returned for a second voyage on Mariner after previously sailing in July 2004. We are a 45 yr old couple bringing 4 teenage boys ages 18,18,16, and 15. We have previously sailed on the Carnival Glory and Mariner.

Traveling from NC, we arrived Saturday afternoon at the Radisson at the port. We have stayed here previously and enjoyed the hotel. After a trip to Ron-Jon's and then dinner, the boys head to the adjacent go-kart track and we head to the bar to hear some Buffett-type live music and enjoy a cocktail. It's great to sleep in and take the free shuttle from the hotel to the Port.

Arrived at the Port at about 1200 on the hotel shuttle. We had e-docs, but the porters were ready with the luggage tags. I was worried about this beforehand, but I assure you it was no problem at all. Proceeded to security and up to the registration area. The local port staff are not overly friendly, seems like a bunch of stressed out lady retirees who like to boss people around. Since we did not receive any Bahama's immigration forms beforehand,(most of the passengers also did not have the forms), we had to awkwardly fill these out before getting in line. The line moved very quickly, having done the sea pass online in advance, the check in took less than 5 minutes. We then could immediately proceed onto the ship.
