To begin, let me say that this was a spur of the moment trip, on a ship that was supposed to be dry docked because of upgrades. Hopefully these upgrades have been finished, and the ship has improved. During the duration of the trip, there was some tolerable construction noise during the day. I'm used to it, living in N.Y.C. Like magic, new carpeting would appear every morning. They were working on the new pub, and redoing some of the restaurants. Unfortunately, none were finished during the cruise. Oh, how I wish they had been.

The choice of food venues was terrible, as was some of the food. So bad, that the last evening of the cruise, I ended up with food poisoning, not Noro, but bad enough. Something I ate at breakfast, maybe undercooked eggs, or bacon? That was the end of my vacation. Besides the fact the service was not that great at most of the "free" restaurants, the food seemed real sub par. There were only a few "for pay" restaurants open during this cruise (which I have enjoyed on the ships like the NCL Breakaway), but they were always booked. It didn't seem worth it to buy a dinning pass, but maybe I should of. Maybe I would of had a better dining experience. The buffet food was okay, sometimes better than the food in the main DR. Can't really pinpoint anything I truly enjoyed eating. Maybe dessert?

Public bathrooms were not always cleaned. I would wait, if I could, to get back to my room.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

The cabin was fine. The cabin stewart was attentive, and kept it clean. Typical midship balcony. Only wish the people next door would of behaved themselves better. Loud music till 5 am? Really?! Well, like they say, you can't choose your neighbors.
