The staff on this ship was extremely friendly and helpful. The ship while a bit older, was certainly better than I expected. From prior reviews I knew that it would not be the newest and fanciest but we found it to be clean and very adequate. We had few problems and those that we did have were addressed quickly by the staff. The ship was not full so there was never a need for a long line anywhere which was good for us but bad for the cruise line. We dined mostly in the buffet and the main dining room and the food overall was very good. We also dined at the Brazilian restaurant and found it to be exceptional. The Italian restaurant was average and I would not go back there again. The shows on the ship were average as they were mostly put on by the Norwegian singers and dancers and I have certainly seen better shows on other ships but they were quite adequate. We found the ship to be cool enough that we really needed a sweater while we were inside so be sure you pack at least a sweater or sweatshirt. I would go back on this ship again as the service and friendliness of the staff were exceptional.
