Our previous cruise on the Caribbean Princess which we took shortly after this ship was launched has changed greatly. Still the great stage shows, still the fine Lido buffet and excellent dining room services and cabin service i'm happy to say. The changes we did not care for was the Lido deck special buffet in the most aft section where previously, we were treated with fabulous seafood including unlimited lobster claws and other deliciousness but this menu is not relegated to a new pay-for sea food specialty dining room! A second inevitable change is the aging of the cabin mattresses. Ours, in our handicap cabin had broken springs virtually collapsing the mattress. When we informed the steward and finally the Hotel Manager, our mattress were switched out but even the new mattresses needed replacement as they did not support our bodies. The steward, as an answer, had tried adding plastic bags, duvets and other materials as padding but, of course, that did not help in the lease. Hey guys, it's time to update your bedding! Other than that, we really enjoyed our too-short cruise.
