What can I say about the Garden Villa that hasn't already been said? Not much. But This was my DW's (35) and mine's (42) first vacation in 4 years, and 2nd cruise (we were in an inside & balcony the 2 other times) so we thought we'd go all out this time. We took her brother (33), sister (26) , and her boyfriend (28). They had never cruised before, so we thought it should be fun for everyone.

We'd never been on an NCL ship before, and we knew going in that the Star was an older ship. So we went in having low expectations.

Our Butler Clint met us in the suite gusts waiting area before getting on the ship. He escorted us on board before anyone else and brought us to the garden villa; gave us a little tour, and whisked us down to Cagney's for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised to see the ship was in such great shape. Maybe because we don't cruise a lot like others, but we found the ship, the staff, and the overall experience was great to us.

Garden Villa

Cabin S1

This room is ridiculous -- but in the best ways. Everything was in great working order, in great shape. No pictures or videos on YouTube can prepare you for the size of this suite -- indoor & out on the sundecks.
