I could write a novel but will keep it succinct. This ship, staff, concept, entertainment, technology were far from ready to take on passengers at a reduced rate let alone the top $$ charged. Embarkation was chaos, many of the restaurants had good food and service. Many did not. NO assistant waiters and the waiters didn't handle that well. Cruise director either was totally inadequate for the job or his hands were tied by management because activities were not appropriate for this cruise. Mama Mia was wonderful--top notch.
Our only shore excursion of St. Kitts was worth every cent.
Ship was beautiful but for a cruise 2 weeks before Christmas it had one tree and a Santa in a $15 Santa Suit--Shopping is ready for the orient budget--Junk and very high end--little in between.
Virtual Balcony is a great idea but DON"T book any cabin next to the 'Ice room' where all attendants store their carts and have the ice machine!!!!!!! Banging and clanging made any peace and quite in the cabin from 5 am til 2 am. I threw my back out the first day and tried to rest and it was a nightmare--the walls vibrated from the noise and impacts--no sound insulation and little concern from the cruise line to try to help--lip service but no results I'm giving the cabin 4 stars for functionality and deducting for the location
