Celebrity used to claim to be Royal Caribbean's posher cruise line. Now they are the poorer cousin, with older ships with slipping standards. A cruise we looked forward to for a year became a nightmare from the outset.

Itinerary changed but not told till boarding, despite the ship knowing a week or 2 before. Boarding fairly quickly. Cabin better than expected despite an outside on deck 2. Cabin clean and tidy. Toiletries now companies own and so harsh they could be used to strip the paint off the side of the ship. The whole ship looks tired and outdated, even with a supposed recent refit. Outside areas, pool deck especially looks ancient and worn.

Broken sunbeds, the rest dirty and decrepit. Huge amount of floor space on upper decks with no sunbeds.

Cabin 04

Cabin clean and tidy although the shower curtain rings were rusted through. Quiet cabin. Good location for us. Plenty of storage space Looked light and airy, though the window was filthy.
