Sail Date: Dec 2014
Cabin: Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

We have renamed the "Quantum of the Seas", the "Nightmare of the Seas" run by a "Ship of Fools".

While this is a brand new ship with many new and wonderful innovations, their failure rate was too high to be acceptable and the "Dour" attitude of the majority of the crew resulted in my "Title". This is a very "COLD" ship!!!!!

We are "Diamond" members, having said that, we have achieved enough experience to know what defines a the difference between a "Good/Bad" cruise. This has been, easily the worst cruise of all the lines and vessels we have sailed on, dating back to the early 90's.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

Cabin N

The cabin is quite nice but not too spacious. The The "Pseudo Balcony" is a nice touch for the inside cabins and gives the occupants the opportunity to view the outside world from whichever way the wall that it is mounted on, e.g. front pointing wall, view from the bow, aft pointing wall, view from the stern, etc. The cupboards and cubby holes around the mirrors are all gone and the shelves in the bathroom are diminished. One big gripe is the watch-ability of the TV. The have limited to pivot of the TV to something less than 45 degrees and the beds are face the door. When one wants to watch TV in bed from the side that the TV is attached, it is like looking at it sideways and the viewing angle it very acute. After 2 days, we notice more storage over the head of the bed and used that. It provided some relief. The couch and table was replaced by a small chair. The desk has an almost, backless chair that nestles under it. Don't lean back, as you might end up on the floor. The WIFI costs a fortune and is at most times "Pitiful".
